Default door handles

Hey guys,

I have bought some door handle/lock gaskets and I'm not sure how to get my door panels off. Can anyone give me some info on removing the interior door handle?

Thanks

the deluxe handles are easy. there are two screws to take the trim piece off around the handle, then rotate it a little to get it to slip over the handle, you might have to pull the handle a little bit. then there are two more screws that hold the handle on. there should be some small screws along the bottom of the door panel kinda in the carpet area. then there are some plastic push in clips. they make a tool to slide under to help pull the panel off, be careful as they tear the panel easy, after you get that all loose the panel will come off by pushing down and in toward the window and then pop it up, oh yea dont forget to remove the window crank and the door lock ****
there should be a paper water shield behind the panel remove it carefuly if its in good shape. there are no repos for the deluxe panels just standard, which will work but you will have to cut the opening for the deluxe handle and there wont be the plastic seal for the handle
the outer door handles have two bolts that hold them on and the lock has a clip that slides to the side
hope that helped
