Default Disk brakes for an 81 Z

Does anyone know what vehicles can be a donor for rear disk brakes for an 81 Z with a 10 Bolt. I doubt I will be able to find a TA with disks. I head the Ford exploreres are a possible donor. Does anyone know if this is true and what is required in the mod

Cadillac Sevilles have disc brakes that will be a directswap. I believe the late 70's or early 80's are the ones to look for.

The 81 is somewhat of a bastard year with the integration of the computer controller. I have been going though my 81 during my restro project and removing all the unnecessary wires and sensors, essentially winding it back to 80 wiring.

After some searching, I came across a rear end on Ebay for a 79 TA with disk brakes, posi, and include the master and brake booster plus the proportioning valve. I got the setup for $300 and another $120 to have it shipped to me from half way across the country.

This should be a direct bolt in for on $420. I will probably put another $150 into it to freshen it up like rebuilding the calipers, turning the rotors and new seals and bearings and a nice paintjob.

Not a bad deal for $570 all said and done, and I willhave a 4 wheel disk Z28
