Death?
I was driving to work and my Camaro died, and I have still yet to get it started again. The reason it died was the gas line to the carb popped off, even though it was clamped. I pulled over and my starter sounded like it was grinding. I let it cool and came back at ~10 p.m., but still nothing. So we tried to push start it, but everytime we popped it into gear, it didn't even try to turn over. I won't be able to get my tools there until later tonight or even tomorrow, so I was wondering if my engine seized up, or if you think it is the starter (or some other problem).
Thanks

You can easily strip the crank bolt if you try to turn an engine with it and don't have the plugs out! If you use the crank pulley bolt be sure to remove the plugs first!
You should try putting the car in 4th gear and then rock it to see if it turns the engine. If it does, then try rocking it back and forth to see if it turns over both directions. Keep the plugs out while you do this, so it moves easier. That will also allow the engine to push anything like gasoline in the cylinders out, so if it got hydro locked from gas in the cylinder it will clean it out.
