Customizing my 78 Camaro

Customizing my 78 Camaro
Always been a project I've wanted to do... full customization of an older car. Camaro, duh, best choice. 1st Gen = too much money for this guy to tear it apart. Anyways, I'm fabricating my own front and rear ends. No real loss since they were fiberglass anyways. The biggest question I have for now is how to install the tail lights off of the gen V camaro. I've found bolt-on assemblies, so attaching is not really the issue. My main concern is what all would I have to purchase in order for them to work properly? FYI: I purchased an all new GM full body wiring kit as well. Thanks.

Um' the front and rear are flexible poly. Not fiberglass. Here is the nicest late second custom I have ever seen. https://camaroforums.com/forum/70-81.../deuces-62393/
Not feelin the tail lights.

I think you have to be extremely careful when customizing a 2nd gen Camaro. Subtle changes go a long way towards making it attractive and interesting. Radical changes will make most people want to lose their lunch.
The Camaro 77Nomad linked is about as nicely done as I've ever seen. It looks like something Chevy should have done in a 2nd gen, and that's more what should be strived for in a customized Camaro.
You wont be able to bond to the factory urethane extensions and keep things bonded. You'll need to either remove it all and start from scratch, or go to an early '70-'73 frontend that is all steel and modify it with sheetmetal and welding.
