Default Deuces!!!!!!!!

My new project im building for myself .... already have a few partners on board keep an eye out for lots ofprogress very soon gonna run Scotts Hotrods front and custom fabbed rear suspension with shockwaves and Accuair to control it, 20/22 Bonspeed Liteweights, all new floors/firewall, custom nose and rear clip using exposed bumpers and all metal instead of urethane, flush mount glass with no mouldings, custom hood, more to come

Goin with Bonspeed Liteweights

Sketch of the project....rendering almost ready

Mocked up back glass to see what its gonna take to make it flush......more pics to come i plan to flush the backglass and windshield this week at night


Been working on flushing the backglass the last few evenings after work....



Just gotta modify the upper glass trough and fab the ones for the bottom then i can cut out the seamed roof post, weld all the inner structure then reskin
Few small updates while waiting on parts to come in.....
Got a good bit of support from Hoffman Group heres a pic of those parts......great products and service

did some more work around the back glass

cut out the roof to quarter seam

welded all inner seams, rebuilt door opening upper corner and guessetted it, now ready to fab a new filler panel and drop it down even with glass since it was slightly high on both sides of the roof

urethane ledge all rebuilt and welded in




My boy Tommy Davis has been helping alot on weekends

Cut out the old rear panel then had to do some rust repair, fabbed new inner corners, some reshaping for the new '71 panel to fit in where i wanted, then welded up the old bumper mounting holes







Stared extending trunk floor to meet the 71 rear panel
left side filler fabbed and set in place


start of the right side which will be 3 seperate pieces welded together

Right roof post finished out

rear floor extensions finished up and welded in




'71 rear body panel tacked in

widening the panel to fit the car better and also so the '69 lights will fit better

Worked on it an hour or so after hours at my shop this evening and got the rear corners fingered out...heres a few pics of my patch work quilt LOL
