I have a 73 Z28\RS. I changed the stock flat hood to a 2 inch Cowl Induct. Hood along with new hinges and springs. All parts ordered through Classic Industries. They hood, once opened... slowwwyy lowers itself back down. Wont stay open. Classic states there looking into it and never heard of such a problem. Tech. at Classic advise's the only springs they sell are for a stock flat hood. Do they, did they make springs for larger, heavier hoods? Thanks...
