Carburetor question stuttering
I have a 78 z28. It has a couple of things that I’m hoping could be fixed by doing one thing.
I haven’t messed around with carburetors much, but when I stomp on the gas when I’m already rolling it will choke out and /or stutter. Or if I’m at a stop and press it pretty good but not a stomp it will die and takes a while again for it to start.
I was thinking that it could be one of two things. Either it needs a good carburetor clean and adjusting or the points, rotors, spark plug and wires need to be replaced and check timing. Anything helps. Thanks

Does it hit on all 8 cylinders the rest of the time?
Could be a number of things, check fuel filters and choke function first.
Maybe wire the choke open for a run and see if that makes a difference,if the choke is closing when it shouldn't it was cause that type of problem and it's common with OEM Quadrajets if that's what you have.
