i can’t find anything about it. Had it for 20 years and car is all original with Z28 badging too. Unfortunately I bought it with replaced myself stor and trans! Can any one help me on what I have?

 

If it's a Type LT it probably isn't a Z28 and a prior owner added the Z28 badging,someone correct me if I'm wrong.
The LT stands for Luxury Touring so it was an upscale model over the base Camaro but not a high performance version like the Z28 or SS.

 

Type LT Camaro was built from 1973-1978. It replaced the SS. In 73 you could get a Type LT Z28. You do not need to do deep research just google it. This is why you cannot find anything on a 71 Type LT

Your only real hope to be able to know what your car was originally is if you can find the build sheet under the rear seat. If you find a build sheet then you will know what it is. You still cannot prove what it is because they sell build sheets you can get saying anything with your vin. You Vin number will not tell you much.

1967 was the last Camaro that had a hard tag with all the options listed on it.
