Default Car parts with rust!!!!

Alright guys quick question I have some metal parts that have rust on them and they can be removed so the question is do you guys have any experience with the rust removers where you set up like some kind of bath and add the liquid then you place the metal part in let it sit then 'Alah Kazam' no more rust!!! Any help will be appreciated thanks

Then two years down the road. Ala kazam no paint. Not a good idea bro. You may not get the rust remover off well enough and cause paint adhesion issues. Sandblast or good old sanding.

The rust remover is water based safe for the environment all you do is rinse with water and your good (I used it prob 5 years ago on an umbrella stand the paints still good and no rust

I've used rust neutralizers, but not the stuff that simply removes rust. The neutralizers turn rust into solid material that can be sanded, ground or painted. I did numerous spots on my old '46 Austin about 14 months ago, and they still look great.
