I know its not a camaro but I cant seem to get any help on the caprice forums.
The car is a stock 1978 Caprice with a 305 soon to be a 350 at tax time.

I am looking to possibly upgrade my tranny. Right now it is a TH350. I want to upgrade to an Overdrive tranny. Which tranny do I need? How hard is it? Any additional parts I will need?

you can probably find a 700R4 tranny relatively cheap. the early 700R4 isn't electronic, this would be good for you, although these early 700's are pretty rare. if you are going to have a pretty hot motor you might want to locate a 200R4 which is a little stronger trannmision. you can also get a Gear Vandors overrdrive unit, there is someone on this forum who used to work for them maybe he will post something, he seems to know his stuff.
