Check here or here or here the first link is just used to decode the vin, probably wont be much help, but the other 2 are used to identify whether its an SS or a Z28...I didn't read through them, but I'm sure it will help...and I'm assuming if it doesn't fit either of those according to how they describe it you might have an RS....hope it helps, lemme know how it works out for you dude
