how do u decode the vin does anyone know

yes. But the vin won,t give you what you are looking for. The trim tag will give you a little bit more info. If you have the protect-o-plate, it will give you all the info you need. What are you trying to find out?

Paint can be decoded through the trim tag. You will be able to find the engine cylinder that way as well, but not if it was a 302 or a 396, just the cylinder numbers.
