Welcome to the forum!
You need to pull one motor mount bolt from each side of the engine, then two bolts from the trans, and 4 bolts from the trans crossmember. Then whatever bolts from the exhaust depending on whther you leave manifolds on the engine, or split them at the exhaust pipe.
Then there's all the electrical, starter wires, pull battery leads, and misc hoses, etc.
Just keep pulling stuff 'til she comes out!

As for keeping the smog stuff, you just may be able to sell it to someone doing a restoration.

The four bolts on the crossmember bolt the crossmember to the frame. The two bolts from the trans bolt the trans to the crossmember, it may be covered in muck.
