Bumper Trim

Bumper Trim
I am helping a friend with his 74 Camaro. We want to take the bumper pads off. I have not been able to find new trim for the bumper without the bolt holes in it. Any place I can get new trim, or something that will work?

What are you really looking for? Something aftermarket that covers the holes and is black rubber, or something that's polished aluminum or chrome? They sell rolls of adhesive back thin rubber that can fit the area and just stick on, or aluminum strips that can also be attached with double sided adhesive strip.

i think all the bumpers had those odd holes in it if you want no holes
i think if you knew someone that welds you could Use a Piece of copper plate and Strip some chrome off the bumper where you will weld it and just plug weld the holes then justgrind it flat again but you will need to paint or rechrome after friend of mine did that to a 70 something Monte Carlo and also Welded the bolts on so you don't see them form the front STEALTH...
oh yea use fine sanding discs like 120Grit and don't breathe that chrome dust die grinder works well with Small sanding Discs
