Brand new Here and Need some advice on this Car

need help with a car problem ...its a caprice but it has a lt1 vet motor and it will start and die will not idle and when u give it full throttle it dies need help asap

You really should start a new post if you want to get much help with your idle issues.

To know if it is a True Z/28, you may have to do some research.

The Norwood, Ohio Cars had Z/28 stamped on the VIN #.

The Van Nuys ,Ca. Cars like mine, don't have it on the VIN.

I have a build sheet. Most Van Nuys cars need it to prove it.

Also the LT-1 Motor is stamped.. The 1971 LT-1, is a CGP Block.
I don't know what a 1970 Block is... It may be the same Code.

It will have an aluminum intake with the GM snowflake..

These are very IMPORTANT. The difference between a 5k to 10k Car, and a 20k to 40k Car...

Also the Z/28 never has A/C.. It comes with the 8000rpm Tach, Sway bars.Turbo 400 ,if Auto with electronic Kickdown. If it has a cable Kickdown, or a turbo 350..No Z/28.
