I have a 1970 body that has had floor pans, trunk pans, outer wheelwell, and both rear quarters already removed. My question is: would it be worth it to swap my trim tag & my vin plateoff my 1972 over to this body and continue the sheet metal work or are there many differences between the 70 and 72 shell that would make the swap impossible. The 70 has no trim tag or vin #. I was going to just cut the new sheet metal out and weld it in my 72 both cars are in about the same condition.

I wanna get started asap. Any help would be appreciated, need to get the 70 shell in the shop if this is the route to take.

 

Sorry I worded that wrong, The 70 has all the afore mentioned sheet metal already installed, should I continue it from there or not, I already have all the sheet metal.
