Default Back sitting to low

ok i just put some new leafsprings on the back of my camaro about a 2 weeks ago. thought the new springs would let it sit up higher for atleast awhile, but now its sitting almost the same height of how it was before. is there anything that i can put in the back to make it sit up alittle more. thanks

Air shocks are terrible. I know because I had them. I just replaced my leafs with stock rated Eatons and the air shocks with Edelbrock Classics. Great combination. If you can get your money back on the springs, do it and contact Eaton. They can give you any lift you want.

You could take the springs to a spring shop and have them arched a little more.

If you still have your old leaf springs, break them down and remove a leaf to put in the new ones. Should give you an inch or two of height.

The only drawback is he will have a noticably stiffer ride.

Shackles would be the easiest fix at this point, and I was going to suggest longer aftermarket shackles, but I wasn't sure if you wanted to deviate from the stock look you have now. If you are wanting to gain an inch between the tire and fender, you're going to need to drop the springs rear shackle mount point about 2 inches. Right now your shackles are tucked up behind the rear body panel. Longer shackles will obviously make the rear of the spring hang lower and will be more visible from the rear. Measure it up and see if that's the look you want.
