these are the pics of where it sat
well it wasnt totally me, it was me and my cousin, he wants the Z rims and caps, door handles and a few interior pieces and i get the rest, $500 split so i figured $250 was a good deal for the car. So.... i am not going to be waiting on the bodywork for my 80 Z anymore just some sanding of the donor door and fenders and a bit of cutting for the vents WOOOHOOOO.

Damn i need to move to Canada haha.Looks like you keep having really good luck especially with the prices,it took me 2 months to find my 81 and it's in pretty rough shape but the few others i came across were just horrible, and i paid 3 times as much for mine as what you got this one for.

500/250 nice,,,, the price around here for me is usually a grand, we have lots of farmers with old metal in the fields rotting away, its a grand or it sets, no matter what cash you have in your hand. Must be nice to trailer one home for that.

lol, i know what you mean, only once and awhile you come across deals like this here, i seen others in way worse shape go for $1000 + and you try and talk them down and they say "i can get more parting it out" (which thier right) but thats when i say good luck with that and have a nice day. Day's turn to months which turn to years and they still have them and in worse shape than what they were for the same price, but i keep watchin, eventually they break and in some cases thay actually get the asking from some sap lol.

Just noticed this was your first post, welcome aboard, lots of good people and knowledge here, and dont hesitate to ask any questions if needed (even if you think their stupid lol).

Oh yeah, we all love to see pics so dont forget to post your ride up, not sure if there is a 4th gen thread for posting your ride?

Joe

Haha i know what you mean, when i was looking to buy one,i found a 79 that at first glance looked really good for $4,000,pictures made the car look perfect, when i seen it in person it was full of bondo and wavy metal with a very cheaply done paint job,a bad seal leaking fluid all over from the tranny, and missing 85% of the interior that he swore if i bought the car he could go get the interior parts after i gave him the money to show i was a serious buyer haha. The guy would not budge even a dollar off the price, later i found out it has been for sale at that price for over 5 years.
