Default Aluminum radiator

I bought a new 4 core aluminum radiator for 70 camaro 35p manual tranny, only problem is the place for heater core fitting is a female 1/4 ? Should i send it back or

Here is a pic
do they make an adapter so i can get it to the 5/8 or 3/4 nipple needed? My buddy said just put a nipple on the waterpump adapter plug? I like to keep things correct, any help?

Those are probably for sensors .Because the core fittings go into the water pump ana intake manifold .I have a 1979 Z-28 Pro Touring car With a Grifferen aluminum radiator .And this is how mine and a stock set up are.

Yes, heater hoses to engine, no radiator connection.

From your 2-20 post you seem to be on the right track, then on 2-21 you're back off it. Smaller (5/8") heater hose nipple is in the intake manifold, make sure the nipple has a restrictor in it. Larger (3/4") hose nipple goes to water pump. Heater hoses do not connect directly to radiator.
The 2 radiator fittings with brass plugs in them appear to be for an auto trans fluid cooler. Some of the current crop of radiator builders build 'em all with coolers whether ordered for manual tranny or auto, streamlines the production and inventory process. Curious...how did it go this past weekend?
There are several variables for the fan trigger sensor and relay. Not enough info presented to help you.

Had to stop the radiator support is all rusted on bottom.i wanted to replace but all i see is 20 1/2 inch openings?? Mine is 26 1/4 and have sent emails to a couple suppliers no answer. I like to do things right but hear bad stories on after market stuff so i think im gonna grind off rust and weld a flat piece of steel under support. My car does have heater hose on radiator 3/4 inch and other to intake 5/8 so im.going to use that center left nipple and put 1/2 to 3/4 adapter prob.i found a place to put elec fan sensor into intake beside upper rad hose on engine.

Rad support bottom rusted
Still not sure about the wiring i downloaded some diagrams.

Haven't seen that plumbing arrangement before on a 70 Camaro. Shroud appears to have been modded. maybe added later? Do you know the history of the car? FWIW a buddy who ran a radiator shop for years says it should circulate fine.

Got it from origianl owners nephew think its gonna work fine but the support is rusted pretty bad cant seem to find one that is 26 1/4 wide? Its factory so it seems there would be a replacement made by someone. I wanna drive it so i may have to patch it up so i can sit radiator in there.
