I'm looking into buying a 80 Camaro and according to the VIN and the grill it's a berlinetta but it has the factory spoiler. Does anyone know if you could get the spoiler as an option or has this car had some body work?

 

I am 99% sure the spoiler came with some packages but it was an option on any camaro. I can remember in 1984 the dealships owners daughter had a 80 Berlinetta, gray with t-tops and a rear spoiler.

FYI this question would get more attention in the 2nd gen area.
