did you use that duplicolor vinyl dye? I was thinking about using it on my rear seats that i pulled from the JY. There grey and i want them to be black to match the 4th gen leather seats I'm getting for the front.

i used the duplicolor vinyl spray in a can, stuff actually works good, doesn't chip or peel off if you do it right. doesn't look fake or cheap either

Duplicolor works great, and looks good too. It will usually wear through on the driver's seat over time, and need touchup in high wear areas.

This is like De Ja Vu!! My 77 has a red interior that I'm switching to black. The red is really faded from the sun and pretty torn up after a break-in to steal the stereo. I have most of the new parts in black so far and hope I can avoid dying many parts. I do like the white panels in the seats. The seats I have are newly recovered and are all black. The white gives a good contrast. I'm looking for headliner and trim next. I'll be keeping a close eye on your progress.
