Yeah, it was a great car. I have some photos on the Nasty z26 forum. I guess they would show up on facebook too. I think you can see them with this link. Not sure if it works.<http://www.nastyz28.com/forum/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=5865>. She loved it. She has an 85 Z28 now that we bought new in Nov.84. It only has 8230 miles on it so far. It sits a lot!

Default Got it

So is it in your garage yet? Looks to be in damn good shape. If you think it does not need enough work I have a 75 far from original that I would trade straght across without batting an eye.

That's right, it had the posi ten bolt unit with 373. It did have the heavier Muncie as well. According to numbers book I have,.. that's why it didn't have the AC option. It was a lot more tighter feeling than the standard 4 speed that was in a standard 350, 4 speed coupe. I assume they had a Saginaw 4 speed. One I drove back then was really flimsy.
One thing I noticed was after we got rid of the original polyester 60 series tires and went to a Goodyear Eagle radial, the car drove like a brand new one. I'd recommend them even on a restored car for safety and driveability.
Thanks.
Dan

1974 Z should have dual snorkel air cleaner. The car looks great, but please tell her to change the Z28 emblems to the proper year, and fix the trim by the rear lights it backwards should look like the 74 77Nomad posted.

We are talking about two different cars here, aren't we? The OP talked of a car he might get, and then Dan Almashy.
