Default 71 camaro info wanted

I'm seeking info on a 1971 camaro that I inherited from my late uncle. As neat as it looks and as much as I would like to keep it I have no room for it. I'd like to sell it but need help determining a fair market value for it and I'm unsure of where to start as cars are not really my thing.

It's a 1971 and has 396 (so it says on the outside fenders anyway) and a 4 speed manual. It has the 2 bumbers on the front too if that helps. It looks like it could use a new paint job and there are a few spots where it looks like it's bubbling up. There is no visible rust that I can see. The interior looks like ok condition except for maybe the dash is a little bit curled up and the headliner is starting to sag. Under the hood the motor doesn't look very greasy and there is some chrome.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Hey if i were you i would make room for it ha. but sounds like its in decent enough shape to get a good amount for. if u had some pictures it could help us out. im from new york and around here 71's that are running and in decent shape can go for atleast $6,500. your safest bet is going on www.craigslist.com and looking up what they can go for around you.

You came to the wrong place to ask about selling that lol, i would say the help you need is from a physiatrist lol. but seriously nobody can tell you what its worth with the info you gave, sorry. But i have seen 70-73 projects like that go for $8000

But here is some info on it http://www.nastyz28.com/camaro/camaro71.php

I'll trade you as is for my 81 and i'll put a fresh 355 sbc in it first. Hell you can keep the drivetrain in yours to lol but seriously i'd do it.

If it's a factory 396 the price just went up 20%-30% over a small block 350 of the same year. Original big block Camaros get pretty good premiums, so once you've looked around at similar small block Camaros then add appropriately for a big block.
