I dont know how to post links on here but nastyz28.com has an awesome data page on this car. I looked it up and it has all the info and codes for axles and everything. Every engine spec. Its has probably all the info you would ever need. I really like that car though. If you dont mind me asking, how much did you give for it?

I paid 5,500.00 for the car as it sits and it fine and the trans has been rebuilt. The interior (seats) have also been recovered.

If I go with the 350 engine it would be an additional 750.00 plus frieght. The P.O. put the front clip on and may have replaced the bumper with the split style insted. I'm not planning on restoring this car immediatly I just wanted to buy it as I see the value on all 70 Camaros is going up even on base cars like this one and in a few years I will not be able to afford one.

Do you have a picture of the back of the car that you can show?

I would have definately paid that for it. Its a nice looking car man. Good deal. Get the 350, its worth it. Or, just find one near and build it.

These are the photos from the Ebay auction. I can take a few more if you would like to see something specific.

I did go ahead and buy the 350 engine...thanks for your input. I'll keep the original 307 and load the 350.

thanks again.

Wont take much to make that a real head turner! It's really got everything going for it, and with paint and the 350 it will be worth much more than you'll have into it. Great looking car!

I just have to say it again. I love that car. I love the front and backs of the 70-73's. The round taillights look much better than 74-81 and I've had lots and lots of those models. Nice car man, keep us updated with engine and paint and take pics along the way. Everytime you fix something or change it I would take a photo. I redone a 81 camaro and it was really nice, but I didnt take any pictures along the way so I really forgot how much it had changed.

i agree that the 350 is the way to go. i got the same car for pennies and it's an org rs package car with the split bumper. i would keep the org engine on a stand and pop in the 350. good luck. i trying to put in an 5 speed tranny in mine.
