I'm wanting to install A/C in my RS. Has anyone done this? Should I use a "universal" kit? Should I try to find a "donor" and rob the parts?

Any help would be appreciated.

Depends on what you have. I remember one of the ac lines passing through the front core support on the drivers side. and it's a long hose. If you have nothing, a donor car is going to be a lot easier. The kit requires some fabrication of parts.
