Mine is a solid bumper 72. I used to prefer the split bumper better and wwas planning on doing the wannabe swap and just bolting on the new split bumpers. But now the solid bumper has grown on me and since they are becoming more rare I have decided to stick with it.

Nuthing pisses me off more then someone calling the standard a R/S because they swapped out the bumper.. Also when people ask me if mine is a R/S or Full Bumper, when I say it is a Full they look at me like I am an Idiot..

Hang on to those full bumpered Camaros! Every show I go to 90% of the early 2nd gen Camaros are split bumpers now. Considering how many were full vs. RS when they were new I'd guess a lot have been converted.

Camaro Central sells a RS front conversion kit. Looks like it has everything needed for the swap. But it is $1849.95.

That's nuts! You can buy all the pieces from several places for less.

I thought it was quite high. The first time I have seen where you buy everything in a kit and it cost more. But it does give an idea of everything needed.

Yes! I'm sure most people are surprised at how much goes into an RS to make it what it is!
