i have a 81 camaro that had a v-6 in it. i am trying to put a 350 in it and can not get the motor mounts to work. the mounts in the v-6 in my oppinion is backwards from what i am use to, the motor mount itself was on the block and the motor mount shell was on the frame. i tried to do it the same way with the 350 and can not get the motor mount shells to line up with none of holes in the frame cross member. can anyone lead me in the right direction. thanks for any help you can give me.

 

have you looked at a 350's motor mounts vs. the V6's? If you could get some pics of the mounts since the engine's out we could probably tell you if it looks like one of ours or not.
