Default 1981 z28 exhaust question

Hey guys, I live in Colorado, so very strict emissions laws, my question is, my catalytic converter is starting to sag down a bit, I know that they put a bracket that bolted between the transmission and cross member to address this issue, I've seen a couple of them on Ebay, my question is, are they the same for a auto or manual transmission?... The only ones I see are always for automatics... Would anyone happen to have a diagram of what it should look like lying around?...

I would check your state smog laws whether you even have to go through emissions any more. Other wise would check the local wrecking yard for one. Then you always fabricate your own.

Yes, in Colorado, if your car came with one, it HAS to have one, which I've already gone thru and passed emissions, and I just purchased a bracket off of Ebay, but he said it was for an automatic tranny, so wondering if there was a difference between it and a manual transmission one?...

Why not just jack the car up, and hold it up to see how it fits? That might answer your question.
