Default 1981 Radiator Core Support

Anyone out there know if anybody is making the radiator core support for the 78-81 Camaro yet? I started tearing apart the front end of my 81' Z28 to start blasting and painting the parts and found that the core support has a couple of spots that are rusted through. Found a couple on Ebay but they don't look much better or need repairs just to mount them! Guess I could get patches welded in, but I think that would cost more than a replacement.

They are not repopped yet. I did hear that AMD was working on a bunch of new pieces though.

I hear there are modifications that you can make to a early 70's core support. Not sure if that's true or not. If anyone knows what mods need to be done please chime in. I have a 79 and I need a new radiator core support myself. Been looking high and low found a few on ebay there's only 1 worth having on there.

Well I finally found one and the only mod I had to make was I had to cut out a small square and drill a hole for a mounting clip. Other than that, it bolted right up.

Funny thing. I had my spare from my 78 leaning next to my garage. It got stolen, with a aluminum rad from a truck. I think it was scrappers.
