Hello everybody, I just purchased a superclean 1976 Camaro and I am looking for a hard to find part and was hoping somebody here could point me in the right direction. The bumpers on the car are near perfect except that the rubber strips are missing, does anybody know where I could pick them up? Any help would be appreciated!!!

 

they are not available aftermarket and NOS ones are very rare. It also is virtually impossible to remove them from other bumpers as the mounting bolts usually rip out when you try to remove the nuts. Good luck.

Minor fyi, there is a slight difference in the early rubber strips and the later rubber strips. The early rubber strips had caps on the ends, which had a tendency to fall off and the later ones had molded smooth ends. I am not positive but I think the change occured between 75 and 76.
