1976 camaro front bumper
Ok that guy with the 1980 camaro sold it after I called him.
So now, there is a 1976 camaro for sale just like 2 miles down the road for 2800 OBO.
It needs a little bit of work. It has a dent that needs to be fixed, the spoiler needs some painting, and there is a little bit of filler work that needs to be painted. Those are things I can fix though.
Now I haven 2 questions:
1. He says that to take off, you have to have your foot on the gas a bit more than just hitting the gas and letting go of the clutch. He says its just the way the rear something or other is geared (not remembering what he said). What do you think it is because I can't remember.
2. Will a 1979-81 bumper fit on the 76? I like those styles more. Just wondering.
Thanks[sm=helpout.gif]

1st. sounds like the carb just needs to be tuned , not sure without seeing the car. 2nd the 78-81 nose SHOULD fit but not positive,check out goodmark industries.com for parts, good luck

RE: 1976 camaro front bumper
Ok I just called the guy and he gave me directions to his house. Now I will be going tommorrow to check it out and if it looks like I will be able to fix up the dent and paint the spoiler, I will be back on monday. I can't wait to go and check this thing out. What a sweet first car it would be. Even if I may not be able to afford putting it on the road. The guy said that the thing is pretty loud because he put a flowmaster on it. Im gonna go see if that bumper will fit now.

RE: 1976 camaro front bumper
ok that one isnt worth buying. I would have to dropped too much into it. This weekend i am going to go check out a 1989 RS. Its got a 350 crate engine.This guy actually told me everything wrong with it. Unlike the other guy. Its only got 2 minor surface rust spots. One on the door and one just above the lisence plate. I hope this one looks good because I checked out a 1985 IROC yesterday. It also had too much work needed to be done Ill keep you guys posted
