Default 1971 Z28 Camaro HELP!!!!

Hi,

I own a 1971 camaro that was given to me by my father and wanted to rebuild it since it was a gift from my mother to him. There need to be major fixes tho. to begin with, does this car need a certain battery or any battery will do(Old batter was a interstate mega-tron battery 8 1/2 by 7 1/2), can it run on the old oil just to make a test drive and any others tips will be helpful THANKS!!!!!

Install the biggest battery that will physically fit in the space. Make sure you get top post or side post as dictated by your battery wires.

Yes. If the car has been sitting for a while, change the oil and filter.
