1971 Camaro Audio
I've got a '71 with no audio equipment whatsoever and was wondering what you guys would suggest for the best possible sound (radio, seakers, ...) without spending over $1,000. And is Dynamat the best insulator for me put in or is there something that's better and/or cheaper.

You have a blank canvas.
There is a string in the forum right now, "alternator" that you should look at, My suggestion is, start with an optima red top battery, and a high output alternator, then build your system.
Try out this url: http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...p;c=3&tp=9
and talk to their tech guys. Best prices, fast shipping andlifetime tech support. Tell them how much your budget is, and they will steer you in the right direction.Im an alpine guy myself....

RE: 1971 Camaro Audio
when it comes to stereo equipment, "best" is a very subjective term. ask 10 different people andyou will get 10 different answers. "best" stereos are worse to pick than "best" exhaust sounds
as got3ofem said, call Crutchfield with your budget and they will give you the "best" for your money
