1971 Brake Bleed....
I just finished installing a master cylinder and I have to bleed the brakes. I've never done it before. Any advise. all I know it that you start with the tire closest to the Cylinder. in this case Front Left then Front Right. so on. I tried it without bleeding the brakes and I'm only stopping with one tire. ( Rear Left )
Also whats the stock tranny for a 71 350 V8 Camaro base model ( Not ss, z28, Ect ) how many gears.
Thank for the help. I<3 CAMAROFORUMS.COM

I start from the farthest from the master cylinder so, RR RL FR FL. Get one of those small brake bleeding kits from a part store, so you don't spill all the brake fluid. They're only a couple bucks

Start from the farthest wheel from the master cylinder. If you are doing it alone you will need the bleeder tool, otherwise get a buddy, also have a new can of brake fluid, rags or dry sweep and I would recommend a service manual of some kind (chiltons) to help you out.
