hello all, I know of a guy who is about to sell a 1970 Z28, and I was wondering about what its worth ballpark. The car has sat for a few years, has a fiberglass cowl hood[:@], no engine, but does have the 12 bolt posi+ 4 spd. Paint is gone, body is generally ok(no rust holes or pitting) and interior is pretty good(except carpet). Mags, with rotten tires, and thats about it. what do you guys think ts worth? thanks.

 

With the value of Camaro's beginning to skyrockette, from what you described I'd have to say it's worth between $1900 to $3000 depending on how the car was origionally optioned ie: was it a big block car, dose it have an M21 or M22, and how much of the origional car is still intact? If the car is largely unmolested then the more it's worth.

 

it was an LT-1 car, M21, like I said it was hot rodded, but appears to be all there except for engine and wheels.
