Default "rear seat delete"----- Should I ?

Hey guysI am thinking about taking out my back seat (out of a 1980 Camaro berlinetta )and doing some kind of "rear seat delete" (the reason is i have large after market seats in there so the back seat is even more cramped then when it was stock )

any one done some thing like this before ? If so do you have any tips for me ?

any good reason whyI should not do this ?

i've never done it before personally, but i've seen camaros at car shows where people have done the same thing, i my opinion it looks pretty good, what they did was take out the whole back seat and they basically just made a big box in the back, and it was hollow so they were able to enlarge the truck space also, it looks pretty good, but as to what they told me, its a lot of measuring, cutting, and fitting it in, basically its a pain in the ***, but go for it if you want to, its deffinetly a good project.

you shouldn't do it because it will look like crap. if you've ever seen it where it looks good, it's because A LOT on money was involved to do it right. also, unless it's a full-blown showcar that's detailed to the max, it will look out of place

seats always look better than just an unfinished rear area covered with rug
