Quick question. I put new subframe mounts under my 67 camaro during the restoration and am now fitting the front clip. The radiator support seems to be too low now. Original fenders. Do I shim under the rear of the subframe to bring this up, or under the radiator support? Anyone run across this problem before?
Double check to make sure your body bushings are in correctly and check out the body mounting assembly manual for more info. Sometimes they get installed wrong and can raise or lower the body. Also make sure your bolts have the correction torque. Not sure on what brand of body mounts your using, but that can play a factor too. Hope someone else can chime in to. I have not yet had the experience in make the proper adjustments with new bushings or figuring these things out. I know body panels can change over the years and they adjust to the old flattened bushings. Now that you got new ones, the panel alignment maybe off. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. It was a big help. I double checked the dimension and location of the subframe mounts and they are all in the right place. What I discovered is that the issue is how I have the car supported on my hoist. When I put the car down on the wheels things line up much closer.
