Default Question on Z/28 badges

It may sound silly but I really don't know. I'm wanting to put Z/28 badges off a 1st Gen Camaro onto my 78 Z/28 Camaro. I'd like to have one in the grill, rear of the car and maybe both sides were the traditional badges would go on a Camaro. Whats on the back of these badges? Do they go on with 3M tape? I don't know whats on the back side of the badges and how I would get one in the grill and the rest of them on. I was thinking, regardless of whats on the back, simply shave it down and place the 3M tape to make them stick. The grill though I have no clue

Thanks

The First gen badges have cast-in studs sticking out the back and, holes drilled into the body and press-nuts would screw on and keep them in place.
The grill badge has a backing plate for the backside of the grill, then press nuts. But a Second Gen grille is too thick. My suggestion is mount the grille badge onto a alum plate plated dull/flat black, then attach with black screws and nuts with a backing plate.

You could snap off the studs on the other three badges and apply 3M tape.
I believe the First Gen badges are 'Z/28' where as later years are 'Z28'.

Thanks. This is exactly what I needed to know
