Paint the car?
Howdy all, I have a 69 Camaro hardtop rs/ss. I would like to ask some of
you guys that have recently had their cars painted about what the
approximate cost was to paint their cars. My car has all the windows
removed,all the chrome and bumpers removed,dosent need any body work or rust repair but does need to be sanded and primed . So I would like to paint the car a stock 69 Camaro color with maybe a clear coat.Once the car is painted I will install all glass ,chrome and bumpers.
With that said what would you think the price of a professional paint job would be? thanks ed

It all depends on what you want to spend. Pulling the body off, painting it a different color, adds to the cost. Sounds like you have a majority of some of the labor already done, which will help. Probably a decent quality paint job will run you a few grand at the least. From there, you could easily spend 5-10k.
