I have a crimson red metallic with white stripes and black interior 69 camaro I am finishing restoring. I had planned on putting on chrome rims 17 or 18" like foose legends. My friend is selling 17" black foose rims. Would that look good on my color combo. I can get a killer deal or I wouldn't think about it. If I had black stripes I would definitely go for it as price is right but unsure because I have white stripes. Thank you for any help.

 

Seems as though not too many like to respond so, I will. I feel that wheels are such a personal decision and what I like, you might not necessarily like. And vice versa. I'm kind of old school and like chrome. Chrome wheels, chrome bumpers, etc.

I'm just not into black wheels. I know it' s kind of the newer fad but, again, I'm old school. Your car almost sounds exactly like mine. I'm restoring one in red metallic with white stripes and black interior. I'm probably going with 17" Cragars. Not quite there yet.

In my opinion, one of the worst things that you can do is to 'settle' or put something that you're not 100% into.

But, the bottomline is, it's your car, do what makes you feel good...and to heck with others!

 

I would just save up your money and get the wheels and tires you want.Instead spending money on ones you might not like.
