Default 69 replacement fenders, Advice needed

New from Central NJ, have a stalled project. Bought a front clip last year, and come to find out it has more bondo and rust than my originals. Yeah I know shame on me! Who makes the best replacement/fitment/affordable fenders?? thanks, Joe here.

Short of finding good used originals which aren't cheap (owners know what they have), or NOS fenders at $2k a piece, the next affordable option is aftermarket. Having done research for my 69, the ones I would likely try are: AMD
Their claim is they have their own unique tooling, different from all the other aftermarket brands. They also use factory thickness steel where others are thinner and cheaper. As with any, or many aftermarket panels, you're still likely to spend a good amount of time making the panels fit perfectly.
heartbeatcity carries panels called Manufactured in the USA which uses original GM tooling. Unfortunately, they currently don't have them in stock for the 69 and haven't for a while now, but do for 67-68's. However, the fenders cost $795 each. Might be worth calling them to see if they can shed any light on availability for 69's, unless that's out of your budget. Part numbers for those 69 fenders are HC337 & HC338: Heartbeatcitycamaro.com
