I have a 69 camaro with a 350 crate motor...
So every morning car will not hold idle I have to constantly
Pump the gas. But when it warms up a drive around the block it will be okay.
When its warm the idle is at 900/1000 rpm neutral. I was. I was told to buy a rebuilt
Kit for the edelbrock carb that I have (650 single pump). Any help would be great.

 

sounds like the choke is sticking or set wrong. the choke should set when cold and when it does the idle should also be higher until it warms. theres a stair step lever that will turn with the choke setting and returns when choke returns to running temp operation.
