Everytime it raines when I open the doors all the water draines out. is there suppose to be somr sort of rain chanel or felt to direct the water out of the door? What am I missing? tanks for taking the time to read this and helping me.

There should be a notch cut at both end of the door. The notch should be right where inner door meets the skin at the lowest point of the inner door. The reason for two notches is incase you car is not sitting level. These notches should be well away from any seal that could stop them from leaking. Some times these drain holes get plugged but from your description it sound like there was a repair the drain where not put in the right place or something is way out of alignment. You need to get this fix. If the drains are not in the right place that means the water is not completely draining from the door.

Thanks
Dude Thank you! I feel so stupid but I checked the doors and sure enough the front holes on both doors were plugged with all kinds of crap. I knew that the car sat but man that stuff is thick. I have to take the panels off and clean the doors from the inside. Thanks for the heads up. you are awesome!!

Once you get the inside of the door cleaned out and dry you might was spray some zinc in there. Since you know you have rust you can not get to the zinc will slow the rust to a crawl. Best way I have found to get a spray on zinc is a product called weld thru primer. It has other uses but it should work for you here. Any place that sells welding supplies should have it.
Normally I would use a use sealer (like encapsulator or Por-15) to stop rust but there is no way to use the sealer correctly without removing the door skin.
Good luck.
