Rare 69' SS350?
Hello everyone. Like most of us here, I've always wanted a 1st gen Camaro. My dreams came true this weekend, and although I was just looking for a good body, and as close to original as possible (only concerns), it appears I may have gotten a little better bargain. I have what looks to be an X-11, RS/SS 350 CAR. The rareness comes from the paint code and interior options which are 55 and 729.. Azure Turquoise w/ Ivory houndstooth interior, auto tranny, original a/c car. It's primed flat black at the moment and has all new black interior and carpet. My plans were to keep the interior, paint it the gold color, and black rally stripes, but after running the vin and decoding the car, I would now like to take it back to it's original color and trim.
My questions are: What did the RS/SS 350 come with? It was minus engine and tranny, and still checking to see if rear end is original, but I want to build it back to spec...
From research, looks like the engine was supposed to be a 300hp l48, which vins should I be looking for block wise? 2388??
What is vin code to the TH350 that was used in the RS/SS 350?
What was the rear end set up for this unit? 10 Bolt? 12 bolt? Leaf Springs set up?
I have done lots of searching, but I keep running into mixed facts or dated info.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance and Kind Regards!

Congrats on the find. Here's a good options table: CRG Visual ID 1969 Model HyperTable
camaros.org is a pretty reliable resource
