I have a 1967 Camaro with a 327. The manifold and carb are Edelbrock and the Distributor is an MSD. I am trying to figure where some hoses get connected. Namely the Vacuum Advance hose and the PCV valve (specifically what ports on the carb). On the manifold in between the distrib and carb is a black stem that is screwed into the manifold with two horizontal nipples (ports). Not sure what that is. I am also trying to figure which ports should be plugged up on the carb. I have looked for manuals everywhere and no luck can any one help?

 

Vacuum advance normally goes to the front timed port (passenger side) of the carb.
PCV hose connects to the front of the base of carb.
Power brakes hose connects to the back of base of carb, or on the port of the manifold that you mentioned.
Your manifold has a "tee" on it because it was most likely hooked to power brakes on one side, and to the vacuum modulator on the automatic trans on the other side.
Plug any other ports that aren't being used.

Thanks. Believe it or not I actually went on Edelbrock.com and couldn't find anything. Guess I just missed it. Would you mind answering a couple related questions? If so here goes.

1. What is the official part name for the "tee"
2. Is the vacuum modulator's hose a metal tube by chance? or is that the brake line?
3. Where does the other end of the pcv valve connect?

1. Whether it's the "official" term or not, I call it a "Tee" or "T" fitting.
2. Yes, the line going to the modulator is metal, with a short piece of rubber hose at each end for the hookups.
3. PCV valve goes into one valve cover, the other end of the hose goes to the front base of the carb. Your 67 327 should have a vent hole in the block behind the intake manifold. That's where the crankcase breather goes. Starting in 68, the breather line was in the valve cover (opposite the PCV). If you're not going with a stock air cleaner, you can put a breather into the other valve cover (if your present cover has provisions). Or you could pipe the PCV into the back hole in the block with a rubber grommet, and put a breather in the one valve cover. Any way you slice it, you want a PCV valve and a breather source for the crankcase to vent in.
