Default Newbie need some help

Hey just signed up for the website. I have a 67 camaro with a 327 and needed some help. I'm looking to get a torque converter but I honestly don't know much about engines and needed some help figuring out what would be the best one for me. The car has this top end Edelbrock kit: Edelbrock 2098 Edelbrock Power Package Top End Kits
With a 670cfm holley carb, 3 speed 350 turbo transmission and the gears are 3.73. The car is used primarily as a summer street driver and I'm just looking to add some more power to it. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd say you could away with a 10", 3000-3500 stall, but if you really want, give these guys a call: http://www.ptcrace.com/index.php?osC...78e9403d49f43b

Awesome company to deal with and their customer service is first class.

The stall converter you put in largely depends on the cam in the engine... as well as some other factors but mostly the cam

I'm not a Holly fan but for HP try aluminum heads and a different cam--dual plane intake also--

What he said! Vortec heads are a good cheap alternative than buying an expensive aftermarket set. A dual plane intake is for low end to mid-range torque whereas a single plane is for wide open throttle and high rpm's.
