Wow that really sux,I think you need a new mechanic for starters.
Get him to pay your body repair bill at a reputable shop of your choice not his.
Is your car a stock carbed 350? Stock manual fuel pump?
If so about the worst it could do is flood the engine at which point it wouldn't run and that would be the carb not the fuel pump.
Have to wonder what's up with the intake,sounds like it dumped a bunch of your radiator into the oil and that's a bad thing.
Are we talking stock cast iron or aluminum intake or what?
