Default Insurance

Ok dudes, my project 1969 Camaro is now street ready, tuned, aligned and tested. I got all my gauges to work and after a lot of wiring got all the lights to work. Once I get my next pay check it’ll be time for insurance and registration. So my question for you guys: How much do you pay for insurance and with what company?

I’m under 25 and I’ve got a few speeding tickets from my motorcycle but none recently (1 year since). I’ve heard that if you tell ‘em that the camaro is your secondary/hobby vehicle insurance will cost less.
Thanx,
DE

I use Grundy. They allow more annual milage and less restictions. Must be second vehicle and must be garaged, though. Very reasonable.

Thanks for the replies guys, I still haven't registered itor insured it, right now 95% of my income is going towards my college loans (the other 5% is spent on beer). I'll be 25 at the end of summer, so I think i'll take this time during the winter to watch football and work on the exterior of the car. I know that once it gets warm I'll want to drive it again so I'll probably register and insure it then, but even with Grundy or Hagardy I strongly doubt i'll be able to keep it under 3000 miles a year (no matter how much gas costs).

with haggerty if you need more mile there are plans i believe the next step up from 3000 mi is 5000 mi with increments of 2000 additional miles there on each incriment the cost goes up by 30 percent

this is from the Grundy FAQs

8) How many miles can I drive my car each year? Unlimited - The Grundy Family owns cars dating back to 1909, and recognizes that an attempt to monitor or audit mileage would be nearly impossible. In addition, the Grundy's personally drive thousands of miles a year in organized touring events and simply enjoying and maintaining their cars. You can too!
