I have a 68 396 camaro 4spd and i want to upgrade my iginition system
i was thinking about the MSD 6
What are you thoughts regarding this system pro or cons?

If upgrading from points & condenser, even a stock type HEI ignition will make a noticeable improvement in starting and performance. As far as the MSD ignition, I can't say that you'd notice much of a difference if your engine is otherwise "normal". With that said, I have the 6AL model and like it. What's nice about it is the rev limiter function, I put on the adjustable dial module in place of the "pill". Another option (that I still have on the shelf and need to install) is the timing module where you can adjust your degrees +/- on the fly.
