My buddy has a 396 not sure on the year but i hope its one that i can bore to make a 427 if not it is already bored to 402 and will need cleaned and honed. The heads have already been magnafluxed so has the crank. I will probably keep the rods and just buy new pistons since my budget is low. I am not to sure about keeping the stock rods my dad seems to think that the strock rods will be fine. I hope because i won't really be able to afford them. But will it be worth the time to save up and wait until next winter to build it right. Just need some feed back. I am really broke and i am putting all my spare money into the interior.
